Per our committee discussion yesterday, here's the information on the
new facilitated course from WebJunction, How to Train Online.
Context: During the MOTSE meeting yesterday, the committee discussed the
possibility of offering some MOTSE sessions as webinars, using web
conferencing software. Training can be offered live, online and also
archived for later use on demand. For those MOTSE members who want to
learn how to train online, this course is a fun way to get started. I
took the 4-hour course in the spring and have only positive things to
say. The material was well-organized, the training was hands-on and
interactive, and the instructors were pleasant and attentive to
participants. If you've never offered an online webinar or want to see
how the trainers use webinar/web conferencing software for interactive
training, you'll enjoy this two-part course. (Sign up soon - courses
were just made available to folks across the country yesterday. The
course may be offered monthly, however, this is a trial run. It is not
yet known whether the course will be offered after October.)
